MyMart™

Using our RSS feeds

MyMart™ offers a number of RSS feeds which allow you to keep track of what’s happening on the site easily.

What are RSS feeds and why do I need them?

RSS is a format that allows a website to share the latest information that you are interested in. Your web browser or a separate application will automatically check feeds you subscribe to and let you know when new things happen.

How can I subscribe to an RSS feed?

When information from a MyMart page is available as an RSS feed the standard feed icon () will be shown at the top of the right column with a link to the feed.

Recent web browsers (Internet Explorer 7, Firefox, Safari) have support for RSS built-in. Clicking the feed link will show you recent items and provide options to subscribe.

If your browser does not support feeds, you can either download a separate program or use an online reader.

What RSS feeds does MyMart™ offer?

MyMart™ provides the following types of feed:

  • New items in a category.
Go to a category page and click the link in the right column.
  • Items matching a search.
Do a simple or advanced search and you can now save that search as a feed. Click the link in the right column.
  • New items for a seller.
Each shop has it’s own feed, go to a shop, e.g. Afternoon’s Shop, and click the link.

Look for the standard feed icon () on each page. To manually obtain the feed url for a stand-alone news reader, right click on the icon to copy the link location to your clipboard. This can then be pasted into your RSS reader application.
